Repaired Basement
This Dearborn SODA neighborhood home's basement TV room with flooded when their back flow filter failed. We originally thought the project was much smaller and we could simply extract the water and dry the carpet. It turned out we needed to completely remove the carpet and padding. Then we cut out the damaged dry wall and removed the wet insulation. After a few days of drying, we steamed clean the affected areas then sprayed an antimicrobial to prevent mold growth. The homeowners were able to get their basement TV room back in order before the start of the National Football League season.
