Winter Storm

A heavy snow storm followed by a warm snap is nothing new in Metro Detroit. This Taylor, Michigan kitchen, located in the basement, flooded during one of these recent events. The home's sump pump failed causing the entire basement to flood. We extracted the water then opened the toe kicks to dry underneath the cabinets. This was especially dangerous because both the gas stove's and water heater's pilot lights could easily be extinguished by our drying equipment. Our pros see this situation a lot in the Dearborn/Taylor area and know just how to handle it safely.
