Clutter and The leaking Pipe

This overloaded basement rec room had a water leak from the bathroom directly above it. The volume of things and disarray allowed the water to leak undetected for a very long time. This required days of work to unload the accumulation before we could start addressing the water damage. Since so much time elapsed between the start of the leak and us being able to access it, mold began to grow. This made the claim more costly and the restoration more complex. The work required to mitigate and restore this basement is still on going. Keeping a home free of excess items can prevent a small problem from becoming a major loss.
